Superb Diamonds To Light Up Christie’s Auction

Christie’s is holding their first jewelry auction for the spring of 2015 and some spectacular diamonds are set to go under the hammer.   The “Magnificent Jewels” auction is set for Tuesday, April 14 and there are some stones that are expected to sell in the multi-million dollar range!

1.  An Impressive Diamond Ring

This massive 80.73-carat diamond is expected to sell for as high as $6.3 million (CAD).  The white stone set on a platinum ring is GIA-certified and has an impressive cushion-cut appearance.

2.  A Superb Color Diamond and Diamond Ring

This ring’s focal point is a 5.29-carat cut-cornered rectangular-cut Fancy Intense purplish pink diamond.   The stone is flanked on either side by half moon-cut white diamonds.   The pre-sale estimates range between $4.4 and $6.3 million.

3.  A Diamond Pendant, by Graff

A stunning white diamond set by famed jeweller Graff Diamonds, this pear-shaped stone weighs in at 25.49 carats.   Set on platinum, the piece is expected to sell for between $3.4 and $4.4 million.

4.  A Rare Color Diamond Ring

Mounted on 18k gold, this piece features a lovely 5.04-carat circular-cut fancy gray-blue diamond.   GIA-certified, this ring is expected to sell for between $2.2 and $3.2 million.

5.  An Important Color Diamond and Diamond Ring

The only other color diamond expected to sell in the millions is this ring featuring an oval-cut fancy purplish pink diamond, weighing 6.57 carats.   The piece features tapered baguette-cut diamond flanking either side of the main stone.   Sale price could be between $1.5 and $1.9 million.
